They couldn't make keys for our room so we had to go ask every time we needed in the room. The finally got it fixed then gave us a key that worked for 1 day then argued with us when we told them the date we werw leaving. When we went to check out 30 minutes before check out time the office was closed with a sign that said they were at lunch...who knows how long they would be gone. Would they be back before the checkout deadline or was this a ploy to charge us more for the room if we didn't check out before the deadline. Also, the original listing said there was a fridge and microwave... there was not.

ABSOLUTE ZERO: This Motel 6 is a Masterclass in Miserable Service Rating: ⭐️ (1/5 Stars - Only because 0 isn't an option) My stay at this particular Motel 6 was an exercise in frustration and hostility, beginning and ending with the abysmal service provided by the front desk receptionist. If you are looking for a standard of hospitality that falls below freezing, you have found the right place. The employee who checked me in at 7pm on Monday 10/27/25 was breathtakingly rude and unprofessional. She acted as if I were personally inconveniencing her by simply trying to check into a room I had already paid for. There was no greeting, no eye contact, and when I asked a simple, polite question "if I could have a room away from the vending machine"—it was met with a sigh, a glare, and a dismissive "it is what it is" attitude. This person has zero business being in a customer-facing role; her manner was actively hostile and unaccommodating in the extreme. This single interaction completely set the tone for the entire stay. The level of customer care here is non-existent. The management clearly allows for a culture where basic courtesy is viewed as optional. While the room itself was predictable Motel 6 fare, the repulsive attitude of the staff member is what makes this a true nightmare. Summary: Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere. The marginal savings are not worth having to deal with such a below-standard and outright unpleasant check-in experience. Avoid this locati

Checked in , didn't receive room key, was told to climb through window to open door. This was a fire hazard and a safety risk. Leave your door open, who does that when they leave and the staff had no idea how to program keys, was locked out of our room and I want my money returned. This is the worst and I am very upset as it ruined the bay area trip.
