Location was perfect! The house was plenty big enough for me and my family. Very peaceful and breathtaking. Only complaint was no dustpan to be able to sweep and the chairs on the balconies needs updated/replaced as some was broken.
The other reviews said it was dated, so we knew that coming in. The dining table was sticky and couldnât be rectified with cleaning. A bbq would have bumped it up a star as well as some beach chairs! The place needs a deep clean, like removing buildup from tv console, etc. For the price and our quick trip, it was good. We stayed early May and the beach was very windy. We walked in the morning and stayed on the deck and watched people for the remainder. Lots of jellyfish washed up and also not the place to go fishing.
We totally enjoyed our stay at Seaclusion. The house was comfy, but could use new mattresses! The elevator came in handy for my elderly mother and the view was spectacular. Our week was amazingâuntil someone invited Ophelia! LOL We hope to return again in the future!
Our main complaint is that for 10 people, the communal space was too small. There is very little counter space in the kitchen which has the only eating area within several feet of it. The table only seats 7. The TV could not be turned toward the sofa so it was difficult to watch. There were only 5 seats on the porch downstairs. The queen and double beds were not very comfortable. The blinds in one upstairs bedroom were broken, the blinds in the downstairs bedroom could not be lowered completely exposing about a foot of the bedroom to the porch. One lamp in the downstairs bedroom was broken and could not be turned on. The fans were filthy and could not be used. The kitchen had only 6 table knives and 5 steak knives and only 1 drinking glass. The serving dishes and few pans were heater smelter in cabinets all over the kitchen. Our family likes to be togetherâ not go to separate rooms so this was not the house for us.
