Not VRBOâs fault
We booked this place and paid same day. Paid in full. 2 days before departure some lady from this rental company called us at 430pm while I was finishing my work day. I could barely understand her English, but she claimed we never paid and canceled our reservation.. I asked to speak to a manager and they had someone text me. I told them to please call me as this needs to be fixed, but they refused. Next thing I started getting cancellation emails I didnât know what to tell my family, but called VRBO who quickly fix the matter and got in touch with a RESPECTED rental company & made up for this huge mistake Sea Mountain Rentals made. We figured they double booked it and gave it to the family who paid more money. Either way Iâll never forget this experience and how they didnât care at all. I had to leave work early that day and they gave me no time to fix it. People make mistakes. I have no prob with thatâŠ. but at least be kind to us. We have a perfect rating and home owners love renting to us. Again VRBO was amazing to my family.
