Good stay, small parking lot.

Stayed for one night. Brought two dogs. The hotel chain is pet friendly with no added fees. I stayed in the motel 6 in Headingley the previous night but this motel 6 had us pay a $150 deposit and sign this waiver for the pets. Probably different rules across different provinces, I just did not expect it but it was fine. There is no specific dog area here and no outdoor sitting area. There is grass to the side but not exactly a welcoming dog area compared to other locations. Front desk staff was very nice, they were able to put some stuff in their freezer for us as there is a very small mini fridge in the room with no freezer. No handsoap dispenser in the bathroom like the other motel 6 we stayed at. It also seemed like our room wasn’t fully stocked up? I asked for a plate and some cutlery from the front which they did provide which I was grateful for, but it was a bit dirty and I was told I could rinse it off… I washed them in the room. Very small parking lot as well, not a good fit for people towing trailers.
