It's a simple place that is clean and comfortable. What i didn't like was that prior to booking I searched for PARKING as i had to drive from interstate. There are 37 rooms and TWO car parks. I'm sorry but that does not count as parking or even limited parking. You can not park in the street as it is a TOW-AWAY zone. As a result I had to park around 700m away and cross some very dark parkland in order to get to and from my vehicle. Parking MUST mean available for your guests ... not if you are lucky...

Ashfield Manor is an old building that is presented as well as it can be. It is located a short walk from Ashfield Station and itโ€™s not far to the city by train. Mariella is efficient and helpful, as is the staff member that makes up the rooms. We appreciated being able to use the guest kitchen, dining areas; inside and the lovely outdoor courtyard, as well as the breakfast provisions. It is a shame there arenโ€™t many car parks but we managed by parking in the side street some of the time. The slight downside to our stay is that at times we felt like we were encroaching on the space of some of the long staying guests. Overall we would recommend Ashfield Manor for a short stay in Sydney.

Great price. Great location. Very clean. It was super windy so the old style windows rattled. Beds are pretty comfortable. Their pillows are clean and in good condition but mostly one style in the room, so if you are particular about your pillow, take your own. We'd definitely stay there again.
