Really great stay. Breakfast was delicious. Friendly staff, nice rooms, clean, bed was super comfortable. Only downfall was the elevator takes forever and there isn’t an easy staircase to use with the floor levels unlocked so you have to use elevator. Also our AC was making a weird noise when we first got there and then the next day it wouldn’t turn on which was a bummer but at least we were visiting during winter! We loved the brewery that is connected to the hotel. Good food and drinks! Transportation walkable and easy. Good location. Happy with stay.

Buffet breakfast (included) had great variety and was well replenished. 11am standard check out time was appreciated. Comfortable room, also well stocked. Thank you toiletries (sandalwood) Cons: Pool/spa area on level 4 had run out of towels, bar closed quite early for a Saturday night and main lift was a bit slow and crowded (the other lifts down the corridor and around the corner was much quicker).

We had an overnight stay. We got the train from the domestic airport and easy walk to the hotel. Sydney brewery was a nice surprise for dinner and buffet breakfast the next morning was wonderful. We were able to sneak in a quick train trip to circular quay and the harbour before checking out the next morning and walking to the station to get the train to Perth. Very comfortable room and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice room, pool, and hot tub. Was quiet. Comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly. Good less expensive but still nice option because it is about 5 minute walk (or less) to the start of main streets in Sydney CBD (George st and Pitt St; i.e., it is like staying at one end of the las vegas strip). Also has grocery store, laundromat, and restaurants < 5 minute walk. Close to train station for easy trips outside of Sydney. Will definitely stay here again next time I come to Sydney.

A satisfactory stay. The hotel is conveniently located near central station, and is surrounded by a plethora of food options in Surry Hills. Rydges were also kind enough to permit earlier check-in. However, the hotel is a bit rundown, with slow lifts and outdated rooms; with thin walls/windows making it noisy. Unfortunately the pool/sauna area was also consistently occupied with too many people, making it too cramped to enjoy the facilities.

Exceptional Stay with Outstanding Service

I had a wonderful stay at Rydges Sydney Central. The hotel is excellent—spacious, comfortable rooms and a fantastic central location. But what really stood out was the warm, helpful staff. A big shoutout to Chloe for going above and beyond to make my stay extra enjoyable.
