This magnificent 175 year iold grand lady was a delightful place to stay in. Location was superb. Transport at the door to cbd, airport, Central everywhere. Outstanding value for money in Sydney. Helpful friendly staff and very vlean bathrooms. A range of Dining options very nearby including at The occidental. We loved the grace of this beautiful heritage building.

Go somewhere else - it’s cheap and nasty. Rooms are very dated, shared bathroom isn’t very clean, there is no reception so you have to go to the bar staff to make requests,it’s quite loud outside and overall wasn’t very pleasant

The staff was great, provided a place to drop our bags prior to checkin time. The internet was spotty on the morning we left, but it may have just been a bad day because it was fine the day before. There were only bath towels, no hand towels or facecloths.

The hotel is in downtown area, easily access to train, light rail and buses. Nearby (within 15 minutes walk) major attractions of Sydney (Opera House, Queen's Victoria Building, cruise terminal......)
