Good location, but recommend only if you have a car. Public transport is nearby, butif you're a new traveller, it can be hard.
The rooms itself were good, freshly refurbished and of a good standard. Bit smaller than anticipated but does the job. The tv location in the room is strange, side on to the couch. Suggest rethinking the room design.
The beds were on wheels which seems strange. You'll roll around the room in the night, waking up halfway across the room and pillows disappeared. There needs to be a way to lock the wheels before guests arrive.
Windows were also single glazed, so sound from outside was very audible. You can hear all the street noise and being above a pub on weekends, you can easily hear some of the late night antics. Windows should be looked at next to get these double glazed.
AC was a bit hit and miss. It works in the rooms slowly, but not the living area which needs looking at. The extractor fan also isn't connected to extract anywhere.
All other rooms seemed to be getting finished still so you walk around a bit of a construction site currently.
Honestly, the potential for this little place is unreal. I'd definitely keep my eye on it as I like a lot about it and I look forward to seeing how these upgrades can take the place to the next level.
