There was a water shut down for 4 hours, and no reaction or compensation from the staff and just he kept saying, ‘it never happened before so I don’t know how to do’. I couldn’t even take a shower and that night was terrible. It should be refunded.

Took two in person visits and two phone calls to get towels. The shower would turn from normal temp to scalding. Reported everyday. No one cared until our FIFTH day when I said I was calling the Health Dept and asked for a manager who I was told was gone until the next week. The Maintenance Manager finally stepped up and gave us a partial refund. Got the water fixed. Brought us wine champagne and snacks and cookies. But that was the fifth day. All we wanted from the first day was water that would not suddenly change and burn us. The front reception staff are like teenagers and chat among themselves but do not follow through. The place is more like a hostel than hotel. Cannot recommend. We are a professional couple who stayed there for a week. The one good thing is location downtown. And a good coffee shop next door. It’s not well kept up. It’s old rooms that need total refreshing w paint and furniture and decor. The toilet is yellow stained. Find another choice. It’s not worth it.

The room was dirty - cleaned at eye level, the rest of the apartment was filthy dirty and when mentioned to front of house staff they didn't seem to care, not offering a replacement room or refund. Walls dirty and dusty. Carpets stained and dirty. Grout in kitchen dirty. Grout in bathroom dirty. No soap, shampoo, or body wash in dispensers. I have taken photographs if required? The picture displayed isn't the hotel but the cafe next door.

Room was really dated, especially the bathroom which felt dirty - there was mould in the shower etc. The place generally felt untidy - in our three night stay there was always rubbish/towels/laundry piled up outside the lifts and it stayed there all day. We didn’t use the pool as it didn’t seem the cleanest either. Location was really good, but despite being on 13th floor the room was really noisy at night - perhaps to be expected given location. The coffee station in the lobby could be improved - we were shouted at for attempting to look at it after 10pm when apparently it closed despite no clear signs to say so.

The location is great and the hotel staff is welcoming. It’s more run down than advertising videos show. Housekeeping was short staffed one day but we were ok with that and just asked for a couple of towels and received it right away. Honny and Sim at the front desk were extra helpful and wonderful in helping when our key entry needed a reboot and when we needed a taxi reserved for the airport. Super quick service! The cafe right next door was perfect for breakfast. The short walk to Darling Harbor was safe and easy! Our best meal was at Nick’s near the water. Went to Sea Life which is also at Darling Harbor. We also easily walked to QVB and shops, and Chinatown for a variety of Asian food. Loved this location and the hotel staff. Thank you!
