Excellent experience here twice!

Second time we've stayed at this particular hotel. Last year and this year for NYSPHAA Bowling States at AMF Strike and Spare Lanes in East Syracuse. Check in was quick and easy. Friendly desk clerk. Rooms are clean and smell fresh. Lousy view out the window but who cares. The price was great. It was close to the bowling alley and has a Tulley's on one side and a Dunkin Donuts on the other. Sweet! Recommend this place for sure.

Our experience with this hotel was not so good. The front desk staff was very friendly; however, the cleaning standards at this location are not very high, in my opinion. The room was not clean. The bedding was nasty, with stains and dirt marks all over the beds. There were ants and dog hair everywhere! The location is pet friendly, but NO, I was not traveling with a pet. The charging outlets in the room were so loose that hardly any of the plugs worked. The location was convenient for food and entertainment.

This hotel was cute! You can tell it was a little old but the quality of cleanliness and staff kindness made up for it. The breakfast wasn't anything crazy, it had limited options. The elevator is also very old but it was just enough for what I needed for the night.

I would love to leave a good review, but honestly due to some things that occurred, I simply cannot. My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend to attend a Syracuse Basketball game. Upon getting ready we immediately were hit with a clogged shower that spewed dirt and hair out of the drain (I have a video If wanted). Also the water coming out of our sink was brown not allowing me to use it. I did not complain at the time because we were in a rush and really do not like confrontation, but after thinking about the situation for the past week, we think it is best to say something. Again, I have pictures and videos If you want to see. Please reach out so we can sort this situation out.

Overall not so good. It’s clean , but room very old, carpet in pieces and curl up, tripping hazard. Not even one piece! very noisy AC, has to turn off, otherwise can not sleep, bed very hard, wall very thin. Staff not seem happy, food for breakfast very limited.
