The staff were excellent. Very helpful and professional. The room was a bit small, but the bed was comfortable and everything inside worked well. I also appreciate the free coffee, tea, and snacks. The location was also great! Very close to shopping areas and plenty of good food around. The only bad part was the bath towels. It was too rough! It scratched my skin and left a burn mark on my face! Please provide better towels. Other than that, I had a great stay.
Good location and good service! Friendly and helpful staff! Free Starbucks coffee at lobby is a plus! Bamboo shoot crackers are so yummy! Close to train station and many buses nearby. Highly recommended!
Stayed two nights here.
Pro: The bed was very comforting, and the location of the hotel was great, closed to night market, mall, train station and eating places. They also provide snacks and variety of tea at the lobby which I love trying.
Con: The room wall was rather thin and I can hear the snoring from next door. The reception staff was also rather odd.... I wouldn't say I felt welcome, but I would stay again for the price, location and the bed comfort.
This review is about the Elite room.
Pros: The room seems to be fresh renovated or like new. It was enough space for one person and the tidiness was acceptable. Located close to central station at the canal area it's suitably accessible. The staff was kind and helpful.
Cons: Otherwise fairly soundproof (being by itself in the corridor's corner with no next door neighbors). There is audible sound coming from the guests staying upstairs from scraps from chairs when these are moved (one night guests did so a lot until 11pm)! The ceiling is plywood based and there's seems to be no isolation therein.
This is for the noise sensitive traveller, who would consider this for longer stays. If you have no such sensitivities it's all fine and go.
There are some sharp practice at this hotel.
Beware of booking and then paying at the hotel.
I was asked to pay over US$100 or 3100 new Taiwan dollars. When I booked this hotel, the rate mustâve been much lower as I never book any hotel over $100. All my hotels on my two month Asian trip have been between 35 and US$80 so far.
This is basically two star hotel with limited amenities which is worth $40 maximum a night. Certainly not worth paying over 100.
Tourists beware!
You can find much better for a fraction of the price
