I like the hipster cafe interior at level 1 lobby. Gives a very cozy and homely feel. However, breakfast selection is only limited to 2 types, which were sandwich (ham/cheese, jam and forgot the 3rd one) and porridge. So maybe could consider adding 2 more types such as noodles (dry/soup) and fried dough (you tiao/butterfly/etc)? Then alternate the breakfast days?

The family room at P&F Hotel was unusually spacious than typical hotel rooms in Taiwan. It was also pretty modernized and clean. It's located at the old part of Taichung, very close to Taichung Old Railway Station and The Second Market. The breakfast was free, with choices of traditional Chinese and modern western styles. My room had a small window but we could barely use it.

Comfortable stay close to Taichung Station

Clean & spacious room, still in very good condition. Great value - and particularly enjoyed the bathtub. Front desk were friendly & helpful with various touring related requests (used Chinese; did not test their English). Free use of bikes to explore the area. Breakfast was O.K. : not sure I want cold salad in the morning, but the toastie was nice.

Very clean. The agents at the hotels were very helpful. Helped us answer a lot of questions around the area and where to go. Within 10-15 min walk to a few night markets

Excellent budget hotel at convenient location

We stayed at Deluxe Double Room. It's very clean & spacious with a huge bathtub. The only drawback is without window and wardrobe. For breakfast, you can choose either Chinese or Western set meal with a choice of different toast. The taste is good but would be boring if you stay long. The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is very near to the old Taichung Station and this is a relatively old area. The transportation is very convenient and there are bus stops near the hotel. We travel to all popular spots by public bus which is free of charge for travel within 10km. The experience is like hop on / off by tourist bus. Overall the experience is excellent and would stay again.

Comfortable hotel

P&F hotel stay was comfortable. During my stay, room was clean and corridors were quiet. Breakfast portion (set) is sufficient but not sure for the guys. The only problem is hotel is slightly far from railway station and some bus stops. Overall the hotel stay is satisfactory. It is recommended to stay.

Free parking is good, you park first and they will pay you the money, they will help you how to park your car, walkable distance to Chung hua night market. Staff is very nice. Breakfast fair enough to the price.

Great value for money.

We got to check in very early despite arriving at 10 am which is great after a late night flight. With the exception of one, all lobby staff were great and helpful. Really like the private car service we used to take us around Taichung. The hotel car was new and comfortable. The room is huge and has a big bathroom, very comfortable even there were 6 of us. Could do better with rotation of breakfast menu, will give more choices for those who stays for more than a few days. Great value for money.

I wouldn't come back for this hotel

The housekeeper didn't clean up my room even the receptionist asked me when I checked in; the design of washroom is weird, shower area is too large; why not spare more room for sleeping area? I couldn't pack my suitcase easily because the room is SO SMALL
