Quiet guesthouse near railway station

The host was very helpful and checked motorcycle rental and bus schedule for us. The guesthouse is located at the quiet Guanting street, which is approximately 12 minutes walking distance from Tainan railway station and 5 minutes walk to ci kan lou/ bus stop for 88 & 99 route which can take us to some popular tourist spots, i.e. salt museum. There is no elevator but only spiral type staircase and hence not advisable for family with infants and elders, but the host was kind and helped us carrying the luggage to the room upstairs.

It was a really interesting hotel. It's both a restaurant and hotel, so you walk in through the dining area and then upstairs to find the rooms. I stayed there during the week in the wintertime, so I think I was the only guest at the time. Everything is decorated very well, and it's located in a good area--around the city center, near many landmarks.

Gem of a find, in an alley.

I only stayed for two days, but love this place. This is more like a guest house, on top of a restaurant. You go up a spiral staircase, through a small dining room, up a flight (or two) of stairs to your room. I believe there are a total of five rooms. The person that checked me in (...I wish I got her name) has limited English, and I have limited Chinese, but she tried her best to make sure I understood everything. During my stay, somebody gave them a bad rating...and she approached me when I arrived back one evening and asked how they could rectify the issue and make sure my stay was satisfactory. Now, that's being proactive.

Cute hotel, friendly staff - little English spoken

This was a great little hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. We didn't realize that the desk was not open during certain hours so there was no one at the hotel when we arrived just after 3pm, but a neighbor was able to contact the staff and they came right back to check us in. The staff speaks very little English, which worked out okay for us, but is something to be aware of when booking. Also, there is no elevator on the property and the rooms start on the 3rd floor.

Modern derocation and roomy space

The host is nice and friendly. The room is very clean, and it is roomy for two adults. We love modern decorations in the room, even in the bathroom! Each floor has their own Wi-Fi . There is no high quality channels but lots of TV channels to watch on TV. The mattress is a little hard for my friend but is ok for me. Overall, it is pleasant stay in this hotel!

Great little place!

Pros: The silver room was very nice and clean, with housekeeping every day. Very friendly hosts, great location on a quiet road. We also had dinner here one day, which was very tasty. Cons: The wifi reception in our room was poor/unusable. It's a small place with no elevators, so you'll have to climb 2-3 flights of stairs to get to the room.

美中不足就是床很硬啊啊啊

設施環境清潔度不錯！地理位置佳 房間&浴間很乾淨；水垢很少 隔音略差..樓梯有人說話就能很清楚聽到 彈簧床硬的每個人腰痠背痛（依個人喜好） 一早起來睡到骨盆痛酸軟，枕頭偏軟。 住宿房間無電梯，上樓一樓樓梯狹窄到房間需經過餐廳。有大行李的會不方便，一樓沒有大廳跟接待人員、住宿無車位只能停附近停車格！住宿無提供早餐

很舒服的民宿，老闆人很好，有天買了啤酒，但卻沒有開瓶器，詢問老闆，老闆十點多了還過來送開瓶器給我們，房間也很乾淨，下次來台南還會住！！

離赤崁樓算近，可走路到酒吧喝酒算不錯。但因為樓下是餐廳，隔音不太好，加上入住當天晚上2樓有餐廳客人歡慶的樣子，蠻吵的。連我們在四樓都聽的到碰碰聲響，浴室乾濕分離不錯，但電視搖控器接觸有問題，要在離電視大約2個手臂才能轉台，床是硬床墊沒有床板，會認床的不建議。

入住當天來電詢問時間，確認當時有櫃檯人員可以協助check in，很貼心 退房後打電話回去詢問是否能協助寄放需冷藏的伴手禮，也很熱血協助 除了這些服務，房間也很舒適，下次再訪臺南會選擇再次入住村料理
