Staffs were nice and friendly, and hotel is in a great location. But considering the hotel is advertised as 4 star hotel, and by those advertised photos, overall product was quite unsatisfactory. Hotel corridor and the room was smelly (I suppose mould smell or just from poorly maintained a/c). Carpet had mould, the chair in the hotel room had mould on it too. Given what I have paid for this hotel during this peak season, I could have enjoyed more comfortably at other 4 star hotels.

The hotel rooms are good sized and well maintained. The on site laundry facility is useful. The large business center is great. The hotel does not have a lot of amenities---no restaurant, gym is small with limited equipment. But that is fine with me as I go to a local gym and I eat out at all the great restaurants nearby. Only issue I had on this stay is that the coffee machine was broken during my entire 9 day stay.

Great location as it's between Zhongshan and Songshan districts. It's near Nanjing Rd which has MRT station and lots of buses. The hotel rooms are good sized and staff are helpful. Only item missing, which I don't care about, is they do not have an on site restaurant. There is a nearby street market and nearby restaurants where I grab breakfast.

This is my second time staying at the property. Unfortunately, the room this time has a strong stench. The A/C and the dehumidifier have to be running the entire time to mask the smell. The chair for the writing desk was one of those patio plastic chairs, which was very uncomfortable to sit on. There this beeping noise at night that takes place about 15-30 seconds pretty much every single night. However, the staffs were friendly, helpful, and responsive at ALL time. House keeping is also consistently great. The location is excellent as it is close to shopping, food, and public transportation.

Taipei Roumei Boutique is an excellent option for travelers. No shortage of food shops with great Taiwanese food. Only 5 blocks to MRT station. Quiet neighborhood. Front desk staff are very friendly.

A great, affordable hotel conveniently located in taipei that I’ve defaulted to for multiple trips! One thing to bear in mind - the rooms have large windows (great) but the front of the hotel has flashing red/blue lights on every windowsill that are never turned off at night. So if you’re sensitive to that you’ll have to draw the curtains when going to sleep which is a bit unfortunate!
