The hotel room was comfortable and clean. Unfortunately our room didn’t have an open window so it was difficult to tell the time of day without any natural light. Other rooms do have windows so I wish this was known ahead of time. While we were there, a big earthquake in Taiwan hit. Since we were in the 11th floor, the building swayed quite a bit. Fortunately nothing bad happened and we continued our stay. It was very comfortable and easy to fall asleep on the quality bed and pillow.

The service provided by the hotel is great, and the room is really spacious for the 4 of us to live comfortably for 4 nights. We had a really good time, and will choose to stay in chill roof hotel Taipei the next time we are back there. The hotel is also located conveniently, with a convenience store right below the hotel. The only thing that is lacking is probably the WiFi connection, but that isn’t too big a problem for us. Overall, we are really pleased with the decision made to stay in this hotel!

Cool place

Beds were comfy and room was clean. Some rooms have no windows so be sure which you are booking. Hotel is situated in a mixed commercial building, so be prepared for that.

Cozy home away home

This hotel is a hidden gem, it is located on the 11th floor of an ordinary, old-looking building but as soon as you get off the lift, you realize you are in a different world. It has boutique like cozy atmosphere to it, and you feel as if you were back to your home, rather than arriving at a hotel. I stayed in a standard double room, which had a low table and sofa. Loved the place and will definitely come back.

A sweet hotel with character

Having no presence at street level, I was a bit apprehensive approaching the worn-looking elevator but once you step out onto the top floor you are welcomed by a bright and airy little reception area with very friendly staff, and a reading area stocked with up to date guides to Taipei and surroundings. The room was decorated in a clean and modern style with nice splashes of color, and the bathroom (which we are quite picky about) was very clean and fresh. Although you can hear the traffic from the big street below if you listen for it, we didn't find that it interfered with our sleep at all.

Decent hotel close to almost everything

The hotel only occupies one floor of the building. The building itself from the outside does not look very appealing. The reception area is very small. I suggest to wait till you settle in to your room before making any judgment. The front desk staff, Mariay, is very pleasing, welcoming, and helpful. The cleaning lady is also very nice. Free use of laundry machine, including laundry soap. You take off your shoes at the reception area. They have an assigned cube(s) per room. They provide slipper. The slipper is cleaned every use. The room is very cleaned. Simple design, but very decent. The room is cleaned daily.
