Fantastic old building with lots of history , lift is out of action at the moment due to replacement. You get complimentary tea and coffee in the common area between 6am & 9am and no other time. We eat in the restaurant and the food was okay .

Beautiful nostalgic place. The bar at the restaurant is very nostalgic except the fact that we had to walk over to the other side of the counter to get our ice cream. In the old days the soda jerk guy will serve you at the counter like any other bar counter service. If they would do that it would feel more authentic. I hope management read says because it would improve the experience staying at their hotel

Loved the charm at The Lodge and staff were great!! Only concern was we booked a room with a river view but you cannot see River from the room. Trees block the view. Room should not be advertised as such, very disappointing.

Wakulla Lodge was great! The gentleman who checked us in was so friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and nice, and everything was exceptionally clean ( loved that there wasn't a TV).The boat tour was so much fun, and educational.The cheeseburgers were some of the best we've ever had. We sat outside for a long time, and watched people swimming and having fun in the water. It was wonderfully relaxing. The desk clerk that night(she had beautiful gray hair), got me hot water to make tea with. When checking out, we asked Karlin if we could buy coffee for the road. He said no, and proceeded to take the time and get us two coffees from the kitchen. Wakulla lodge should be very proud of thier employees. Thier customer service was extremely impressive.
