Great stay at beautiful venue

Really nice surroundings and very friendly staff. Nice but small rooms.Some could have needed an air conditioner as it was quite sunny during our stay.

A Swedish Gem

We have stayed at this charming family run hotel many times and will certainly come back. Location in the centre of the ancient village of Tällberg is beautiful and very convenient for exploring and enjoying lovely views and historical buildings by lake Siljan.

Beautiful location in Dalarna. We spent all our time touring the quaint little towns and the Dala Horses being carved and painted in Nusnas, went to Mora and toured the Zorn Museum. We enjoyed fine dining at Akerblads. The service was fantastic just wished we had time to enjoy the spa.

Highly recommended

Amazing spa with pool and sauna. Extremely cozy hotel atmosphere and plenty of fireplaces. Food is very good as well. We had the char and as a starter a great roe on toast.

Nice facilities, but small rooms and mediocre food

The hotel facilities was very nice, but the food and the service at dinner was disappointing. The menu wasn’t the same as advertised for their tasting menu online, we had three different waiters, one rather rude and all of them quite incompetent when it came to knowledge about what they were serving us. Didn’t get to taste the wine either before they poured it. They poured different wines in the same glass and cleared plates before we were done. The food was eatable, but quite cold and you got the impression that it had been mass produced and waiting on the table for quite sometime before being served. The rooms were small and the bed uncomfortable and hard. The facilities were cozy and the spa and the gym was to a very nice standard.

Kompisresa. Vi var nöjda överlag, rummen trevliga, sängen skön, rent och snyggt. Restaurangen också trevlig, men personalen verkade ha mycket att göra. Förrätterna inte så prisvärda, matjessillen sladdrig och gav en fettchock med smör och konfiterad äggula Efter varmrätten som var god, risotto tog servicen liksom slut och vi fick vänta länge på att ens be om mer vatten. Frukosten var utmärkt.
