We had an amazing experience at Casa Cocoa! The staff was incredibly helpful with scheduling different adventures and getting us invoiced in a timely manner. We also had one small issue with a toilet not working during our stay and they had someone out to fix it within 2hrs of us reporting it. The gated community is an added bonus, and being a 3min golf cart drive to the center of town was PERFECT! Could not recommend this stay enough!

Casa muy lindo en Tamarindo

I cannot say enough positive things about our 5 star stay at Casa Cocoa! We were 7 ranging in age from 3- 67 and absolutely everyone was happy! Each room has its own en suite fully stocked and there was even a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment! The kitchen and living spaces were spacious and thoughtfully designed. The pool and patio were beyond what photos could capture and the beach access was the cherry on top. The location is perfect and if you have a rental car you can drive to almost anywhere in 5-10 minutes. Lots of walking and running routes and the Blue Zone Staff really outdid themselves with communication. I have already recommended this property to multiple families because it was so beyond what we imagined!

Beautiful home, well stocked with everything (and more) than our family could need. Very clean and well maintained. Gated community, private access to the San Francisco point, and a short walk or ride to Tamarindo and Langosta beaches. Had a small issue with the electronic lock and the Blue Zone company responded right away and took care of it for us. I would definitely recommend this vacation rental!

Great stay at Playa Langosta!

This is a perfect property for a family or 2-3 couples to stay near Tamarindo. It is close to the main part of town (3 minute drive or 10 minute walk) but not "in Tamarindo" so much more serene. The private pool is lovely and Playa Langosta is just a few minute walk away, very scenic -- not a great beach for swimming (head to Tamarindo for that) but great for walking on the beach and sunset. As we were told there is some construction going on nearby as of April 2025, and that is noisy at times, including on Saturdays. But there are only a few lots left to build in this area so that will abate soon, but those looking to rent in 2025 should be aware of that. Overall a great stay and highly recommended especially for ideal location, the outdoor patio/pool area, very comfortable beds, split A/C in all the living areas, and well supplied and large kitchen area. Pura vida!

Family fun

Great location and easy walk to town, lots to do. Restaurants in the immediate area, one is right across the street. Beach is sand and volcanic rock. Very picturesque! And only a minute walk down the street. The house is a good size and we spent most of our time outside. There's lots of shade if you want it. We hope to return again !

Tamarindo home

Although check in instructions came well after we needed them, causing a bit of stress, once there all was amazing. Beautiful well designed home and lots of room for our party of 6. Perfect location and definitely have to eat across the gated community at Fish and cheeses, don’t let the name fool you. Would highly recommend this home for a perfect stay. Pura Vida!

Love this home!

This was our 7th trip Tamarindo and the second time renting this house. Perfect for our family of 6 adults. Wonderful gated community with direct beach access, guard gate and quiet, but close enough to walk to DT Tamarindo. Local management was very responsive to requests.

Playa Langosta Home Review

The home had plenty of space, was clean, and was close to Tamarindo and the beach. The security entering the neighborhood and cameras outside the home were appreciated. The neighborhood was quiet except one night during our stay. The power went out twice and water went off once. Both were resolved in less than two hours. There is a light (possibly motion detected) outside in the carport which is adjacent to the master bedroom that went on multiple times in the middle of the night. The kitchen trash is extremely small for a family to use. A house manual was not provided; however, would have been helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this home and would recommend it.

Amazing property!

We love the location of this property between Playa Langosta and Tamarindo. The house is in a gated community and is a great setup for 2 families and the home, property and pool are beautiful! The kitchen is well stocked. The only problem we had is that the property manager charged us $40 for a missing hairdryer which we never saw or used and certainly did not damage or steal. I tried to communicate with them about this but they insisted that we were responsible for it. Otherwise, it was a great rental! Pura vida.
