Stay far away !!!

Go somewhere else !!! Close to rays/Bucs stadiums but this place is nasty. Put us in a room 1st with mold/mildew they were deep cleaning carpet chemicals smell was overwhelming (along with the reeking of weed smell in other places) it was almost midnight when we got there and was to tired to go anywhere else they put us in another room but we didn’t sleep well. Sheets were clean but the room was filthy.

This was the absolute worst hotel i have ever stayed in... between the mildewed rooms and hallways and the unsavory clientele going in and out at all times... i have never felt so happy to leave a hotel.

When we first checked in one of the 2 elevators wasn’t working. Our hallway smelled like weed the entire time near our room. When we first entered our room it had a slight smell, but we were there long enough to think much of it and at the time seemed to go away. The ice machine was broken as well. We were there on vacation so we got back late just to sleep and wake up early to leave. The next morning the smell got worse and smelled like a wet dog. Getting ready to take a shower I grabbed a towel and noticed black mold under the sink. I looked around and found black mold all over the bathroom under the sink, next to the sink and behind the toilet. So, I figured out where the smell was coming from. Now I inspected the rest of the hotel room and found more disgusting things, like stains on the mattress covers. This place is a dump. I contacted Expedia to see what I could do about a refund and they contacted hotel management. Said they couldn’t do a refund because I could change rooms, but we were only staying that one night. I went to the front desk to check out and talk to the manager about it, she just said they have plenty of rooms available and I should have woken up in the middle of the night to come change rooms. Though, we didn’t find the problem until the morning. She was condescending and rude. She thought she was being smart by telling me “God Bless” like that was going to fix any problems. I took pictures of everything and will be reporting it further.

This property has a large pond off of the pool area with a dog walk path around it. The pond had numerous litter accumulation areas and the back half of the walkway was in poor shape. The bathroom was poorly caulked around the tub and sink. The room was not well vacuumed and only one bath towel was provided. The breakfast was poorly stocked as was the coffee station. Milk was in a 1/2 gal jug, no fruit or yogurt was available. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone as it seemed neglected.

very unsatisfied customer!

Our stay was terrible. The pool was filthy. The breakfast was poor. The hotel is very outdated. There’s only one elevator that works, and it is very slow, especially in the mornings. The Wi-Fi connection was terrible. We could we could not connect to the Wi-Fi. Notified front desk and They did nothing. They barely speak any English. I will never book here again! Waste of my hard earned money and my time!

Didn’t like that they don’t have safes in any of the rooms. Lacked in bathroom supplies (shampoo, conditioner, etc). Bathroom had stains on the floor and a lot of rat spots. Cabinet to hold the mini fridge was broken. Window coverings were broken. Tv remote was broken and batteries were dead. Very dark room (“suite”) with limited lighting. Tv cables left hanging out from one side of the room to the other to be plugged in.

Health Hazard

The first room that we were given, was almost suffocating with the smell of mildew. I called the desk and asked that we be given another room which they accommodated right away. The second room had 50% less mildew smell but it was still pretty stifling. We all woke up with stuffy noses and bad headaches. These rooms are not safe.

I liked its proximity, an easy walk, to Steinbrenner Stadium and the Buc's stadium. Had breakfast each morning at Mom's Place just up the street, a 5 minute walk and highly recommend it for breakfast. Parking is easy but the entrance is barely visible, I ran past it a few times and instead cut through the Econolodge next door. Staff was friendly and helpful. A pretty good deal considering my trip was during spring break and spring training.

Would not go back

Hand Shower Slid to the bottom had to tie a towel around post to stay up. Mold in Shower. Door latch broken, baseboard vinyl coming off. Key card had to be reset 3 times got locked out of room.
