We Loved Casa de Taos

We loved everything about this booking. The home is beautiful and cozy / nicely decorated. It was a perfect place for 5 of us to ski during the day and then make a nice dinner and soak in the hot tub at night looking at the stars. Can’t say enough as to how much we enjoyed this home - thank you!

Magical stay with 360 views

The views of the Taos mountains, sunsets and sunrises at this property is spectacular. So many artistic and thoughtful touches. Quiet and remote yet 15 minutes to great food and all that Taos has to offer. This is a must stay.

Roof is terrifying and issue with mice

Overall, both my husband and I felt that this property was lovely. However, it has an aluminum roof on it that expands and contracts at night. It sounds like a 200 pound dead body is pulling on the roof out of nowhere. It woke us both up several times in middle of the night and an absolute start. We unfortunately also had an issue with pest control in actually had to move out early. I will say, however, that the property manager was excellent and found a place to stay. Just down the road for an equal price that was fabulous. They were very easy to work with with great customer service.

My family of 6 (kids ages 15,13,10 & 8) had a great stay at this home outside of Taos. The check-in was easy, communication crisp and the house was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed and the property is amazing. Beautiful view from all directions and amazing gardens with hummingbirds everywhere. It was very much worth being outside of town, but still retaining easy access.

Arroyo Hondo House

This property was perfect for our group. Exactly as advertised. They had anything and everything that you would need in the kitchen as well as fans, heaters and humidifiers for each bedroom. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Lovely, Relaxing Getaway

We did a weekend trip to decompress in a space where we haven't been staring at each other for months. The house is amazing and I appreciated the thoughtful design of the space as well as the high quality of kitchen stuff. When sitting on the patio it feels like there are no houses in any direction for miles and the birds were wonderful company for my morning coffee. Already thinking about the next time we come back. Exactly what I hoped it would be.

Anniversary Trip

We were looking for a peaceful, quiet, out of the way place to celebrate our 40th anniversary and this lovely home was perfect. We so enjoyed the solitude and the serenading of coyotes each evening as we soaked in the hot tub watching the night sky change from dusk to a million stars. Well appointed, we had everything we needed to cook and relax. Close enough to Taos and hiking trails, but far enough away to not hear any city noise. As we drove home, we talked about renting the house for next year, and the next and ... Turnkey was so easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. Thank you. We had a memorable time.

Awesome Taos Property

When I first booked the Arroyo Hondo property I was skeptical about it, mainly because there were no reviews to consult. My mind was eased immediately upon arriving. I'm not 100% certain, but it felt like we were the first guests to stay at this house. We were in Taos for a post-holidays long weekend visiting our son who had moved to Taos and is working at the ski valley. Since he couldn't come home for the holidays we really needed to go see him. What we were looking for was a spacious property that was private and comfortable. The Arroyo Hondo house exceeded our expectations and then some. The location of the house is perfect. Far enough away from the noise and traffic but within a 10-20 minute drive to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping. The house itself was "typical Taos" in appearance, meaning flat roof adobe and northern NM architecture. Upon entering the house, though, you quickly realize that it is very new and modern. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to make your stay comfortable. The radiant floor heating system is something that I've never experienced. To walk around barefoot in 10 degree weather on warm tile is really a treat. The instruction book that the owners provide is very thorough and in no time you are feeling right at home. The check in / check out process is seamless and unobtrusive. Turnkey Vacation Rentals does a phenomenal job of communicating with you without getting in the way of your vacation. I am honored to leave the first review of this property. I can't recommend it highly enough and know where my family and I will stay on our next visit to Taos.
