This is an absolutely charming place to stay! We loved the many tasteful southwestern touches that give it the historic charm mentioned in the description. It was an artist’s house and his work is displayed throughout. It’s far enough from the main drag to be very peaceful and quiet; we slept well. The front porch and garden were an additional lovely place to spend time and listen to the birds singing and the wind chimes making their gentle sound. The hostess was extremely responsive; when we asked for an additional key she cheerfully provided one. I highly recommend this pueblo casita, which has that artistic flair Taos is known for. One note: although the house is one story, there are a number of small steps up and down (mentioned in the description) between the rooms and for someone who is balance-challenged or unsure on their feet it might take some extra care at first until it becomes familiar. We were fine with it.
