Il Sanmao Desert Luxury Camp è un vero gioiello nel mezzo delle dune. Il paesaggio è mozzafiato, il silenzio rigenerante, e il tramonto sulle sabbie dorate è pura poesia. Le tende sono curate nei minimi dettagli, comode e perfettamente integrate con l’ambiente. Lo staff è stato gentile, attento e sempre disponibile. La cena sotto le stelle, accompagnata da musica tradizionale, è stata uno dei momenti più emozionanti del soggiorno. Un luogo che consiglio con tutto il cuore a chi cerca autenticità, bellezza e relax. Ci tornerei domani!

Staying at Sanmao Desert Luxury Camp was one of the most magical experiences of my life. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking beauty of the endless dunes, the golden silence of the desert, and the sense of peace that surrounds this special place. The camp itself is a perfect blend of luxury and authenticity. The tents are stunning – spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, with everything you could possibly need to feel at home, even in the middle of the desert. Waking up to the soft light over the dunes and falling asleep under a sky filled with stars was absolutely unforgettable. The staff were exceptional – warm, attentive, and always ready to help, yet respectful of your space and privacy. Every detail felt thoughtful and genuine. One of the highlights was the dinner under the stars – a beautifully prepared meal of local flavors, shared by the fire and accompanied by traditional music. The atmosphere was nothing short of magical – peaceful, soulful, and deeply moving. Had high expectations for this camp given the price but was generally disappointed. Communication was not great. Unclear on how to get there, no prior messages so we ended up driving in with our AWD SUV but DO NOT ATTEMPT this. We got lucky and had a hard compact sand... Which is not always the case. Food is average to good, room is meh, AC wouldn't not really work (shuts off after a while and very weak) snowboard missing the bindings... Staff is nice but that's to be expected. Another annoying thing is that is that it shares the same space with ABDO camp and they wouldn't turn off the lights at night so couldnt see the stars not to mention it right next to a bunch of other camps so it was not that quiet and still quite a bit of light pollution. Also weak wifi but wtv, the whole point is to disconnect.

Le tende sono arredate con gusto, combinando eleganza e comfort, e offrono tutti i servizi necessari per un’esperienza di lusso nel deserto. Il personale è stato estremamente cordiale e attento a ogni dettaglio, assicurandosi che il nostro soggiorno fosse impeccabile. La cucina è stata un’altra piacevole sorpresa: piatti deliziosi, preparati con ingredienti freschi e un tocco autentico della cultura locale. Staff was AMAZING , they went above and beyond to make an unforgettable experience!! They arranged an early check in, lunch option even though the restaurant was closed at that time. they were super friendly! Considering we were in the middle of Desert , The tent was comfortable, clean with private bathrooms. It has a beautiful view of the Sahara Desert from the camp , and they offer camel rides from the camp to see Sunset and Sunrise. We were celebrating my husband Birthday and they did a great surprise to him! I highly recommend Sanmao Luxury Camp to experience Sahara Desert in a unique and comfortable way. Best

Sanmao Desert Luxury Camp exceeded all expectations. The location is breathtaking — endless dunes, magical sunsets, and a peaceful silence that stays with you. Das einzige Hotel in 10 Tagen Marokko wo wir uns nicht wohl und nicht willkommen gefühlt haben. Es wird in den Annehmlichkeiten viel versprochen was nicht stimmt. Es gab nur 1 Restaurant, die Klimaanlage funktionierte über die Mittagshitze nicht (Gründe dafür waren nicht klar). Es gibt keinen Raumservice. Internet/Wifi funktionierte praktisch nie und es gab nur in den Dünen Mobile-Empfang. Es gibt keine Bar oder Coffee-Shop. Der Manager konnte etwas Englisch aber sonst konnte das Personal nur Arabisch oder Berberisch (Translation Apps mussten helfen). Es gibt keinen Coworking Space, keine Konferenzzentrum, kein Wellness-Center. Jegliche Information mussten aktiv erfragt werden und es gab kein Einführung in Zimmer oder Hotel. Das Restaurant ist nur genau für Frühstück und Abendessen geöffnet. Das Abendessen kostet extra und war das teuerste unserer ganzen Reise und sicher nicht das Beste. Hier werden wir sicher nicht zurückkehren. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die Lage des Camps ist aber sehr gut. Es hat am gleichen Ort ein anderes Camp das besser organisiert zu sein scheint.
