Perfect for a trip fishing or RV get away. Norris Lake is huge. It has a small town feel. Jimmies has a nice neighborhood feel bar/restaurant, but only open during busy season. A stay here needs to be a focus on Norris Lake, it is a lakeside RV park with only 2 small cute cottages. Cell service is bad without paid wifi. The cottage sleeps 2 adults and a lot with full size bed but suggest kids as it is not walkable.
I was down to check out area and real estate, so not making use of the lake. It will take 20min to get into town, an hour to Knoxville. It is very quiet and in August not many people around.
I rated a 4 because it did not fit my purpose, but I do think fisherman and RVers would enjoy this place.
This property was sooo cute and the manager was very accommodating. Right on the lake. 2 seconds from the marina were you can rent a boat and eat in the jimmyâs place restaurant. We loved it nice and peaceful!
