Not great :-( :-( :-(

Staff was very friendly. Room was basic but nice, really like the double balcony with view over the pool and sea in the distance. I think we were very lucky as some people complained about sockets hanging from walls exposing wires and doors sticking forcing them to be rescued from windows via ladders!!!! Food was not of a very good standard sadly. Hotel overall is quite run down. Paid for wifi but it was a bit hit and miss. Location is not great, it's quite a boring walk into the town via a carriageway. Town itself lacked any type of charm. In summary, I'm sorry to say we were very happy and relieved to board our flight home.

Not bad, not great.

The staff are very good: friendly and hard working. They will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable and always with a smile. We stayed in January 2016 and the hotel was not full so plenty of chairs, loungers and seats in the restaurant and bar. However at the height of the season I can imagine it would be crowded. The room has a safe which was charged at over €5 per day and WiFi was also an extra charge. The sofa bed in the living room was really uncomfortable (we never used it as a bed) the TV only had one English language channel. There were no drawers in the bedroom, just shelving. The beds, two singles, were uncomfortable and would move on the tiled floor if you moved in the night, making a scraping noise. Other guest would wake us as their beds moved. The walls were thin and you could hear people in other rooms as if they were actually in your living room during the night. The food was OK, but it was repetitive and we ate out about 50 of the time. This was our first and last experience of all inclusive, we tried it, it was OK , but not for us. For the price we paid, it was just about value for money, but we didn't really pay that much.

Just ok

The hotel is not bad but I do not complain just because I got a very good offer. The room was poorly cleaned. The bed extremely uncomfortable. But the worst thing was the food. Poor offer and the lowest quality. Basically freez fried food. One of the worst I have ever tried. If you get a discounted price you can consider this Hotel otherwise go somewhere else.

christmas trip

I would highly recommend the blue bay hotel. Went all inclusive over Christmas & couldn't have asked for more. Great accommodation, very friendly polite staff, great choice of food & pool & gardens are fab. 5 min taxi drove to the town square but can be walked within 20 mins. Would go again & again. Excellent.

winter sun

we stayed a week and found no issues with the apartments, the food was good, like most all inclusive placed the food did get a bit repetitive but you always found something to eat, the rooms were of a good size and had a kitchen if you needed it. the staff were all friendly and attentive, a few restaurants and bars within walking distance, the town is about a 15 minute walk away

Good holiday

The hotel rooms are clean and well presented, reasonable service and good quality food, though it could have been more varied at times.

Great relaxing break

Loved the hotel, all the staff was friendly and nothing was to much to ask, The food was good, plenty of choice and variety. We will be returning in October for a longer break, and would recommend no problems, Only down side was charge for safe at €3.30 a day and charges for Wifi and TV, Basic channels was available but only english channel was bbc world news, Plenty of English bars, Monica's around 200 yards from the main entrance, if you fancy a change, and a great sports bars for all the matches.
