This was a great place. We had six adults and had plenty of space for a week. Close to down town and literally 100 steps from lift with ski in to back door.
The condo was perfect for our stay. The space is large and easily accommodated us (6). Our only issue was with the city of Telluride. We had 2 cars, but there was only 1 space allotted to the condo. During the night, the city does not allow parking along the streets or in parking lots. The only real option is to park in the pay lot up in Mountain Village. We took our chances and parked along the street and got away with it. So be aware!
Great location, gorgeous views out of the living room! The fireplace in the living room was lovely, well appointed kitchen (probably one of the best spice racks I've had). The spa tub in the master bedroom is lovely, with views of the mountains. The beds were very comfy. The only thing to be wary of is there is no elevator in the building, so loading in/out with bags/coolers/etc. is a work out, as this condo is on the top floor.
Pros: Walkable to downtown, stunning mountain views from the unit, and comfortable bedding.
Cons: Upon arrival, the guest toilet was broken (promptly fixed), deck screen damaged, furniture in need of cleaning/repair, and broken window screens in the master bedroom. Some attention and updates required. Overall, a delightful stay with potential for improvement.
This condo needs attention. The window shades upstairs cannot be lowered to help keep out the summer sun. The screens are not completely on the windows allowing bugs inside. Thankfully, we did not need someone to sleep in the loft. The apartment was so hot and stuffy our daughter compared it to walking into our attic in TX. The balcony and outdoor furniture is really dirty. There were dirty bowls and glasses in the cabinets. Possibly the dishwasher's filter basket needs to be cleaned. Baseboards and the backs of the doors are covered in grimy dust.
On a good note, there was plenty of toiletries provided and the management staff was responsive. We did make this reservation very late. So, I guess you get whatever is left over... This is our 3rd visit to Telluride and we visit CO at least once a year. I would not stay in this condo again.
I picked this condo for an early summer visit to Telluride mostly because it seemed to have the best view of any of the available in-town condos when I did my search. The views are spectacular and the proximity to town and the river trail was perfect.
I believe the write-up makes it clear it is on the third floor, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. While the unit was bigger than my husband and I required (3 bedrooms and a loft) the condo itself does not come off all that spacious for multi-family use. The kitchen and gathering area are small.
Granted I have not rented a unit in Telluride before, but for over 20 years, we have done summer vacations in Breckenridge, Winter Park, and Vail, so I have rented lots of places since we usually go twice per year, once in the summer and again in the fall. In comparison to other rentals, I paid a lot more for this property. It needs the woodwork and cabinetry repainted, needs some decent outdoor chairs for the deck, and does not have the pretty bathrooms most units of this cost have. On the other hand, it was clean and well-stocked with basics, and I have no hesitation recommending it. Maybe a 4 1/2 stars rating might be more accurate. Almost a 5, but not quite!
Management company was attentive and prompt with responses.
If anything, the listing undersold this amazing unit with gorgeous views of the resort that it's practically on top of and of the breathtaking valley beyond. The property was in excellent shape and had everything we could have wanted (and more). I will definitely be looking here next time I visit Telluride.
This property is spacious and the check-in process was easy. We really enjoyed waking up in the morning and watching the sun rise over the mountains. The shuttle is easy to jump on/off of to head over into Telluride and grab the gondola, if you don't want to walk over. The only warning I would give is that if you are not an experienced skier, you may not be able to ski home at night. Also, if you don't love the old school 2 person lifts, grab the gondola. The market is an easy walk. I would recommend staying here again.
Located right at base of lift 7 which was so convenient in the morning to just walk out your door and hop on the lift. When there is more snow, you can also ski back to the property but we could not as the run was closed. The property was very spacious and clean. The bathrooms need updated but that is really my only complaint. The rental company was easy to work with and readily available.
Great property for my family of 6. Amazing morning and evening views. Steps away from lift 7 and a 10 minute walk to the gondola. Clean and comfortable living; pictures accurate represent the property. Online check in a little glitchy: e-mail did not include the code for the condo but the night property manager was responsive and able to get the code to us promptly. Weâve already booked for next year.
We had a super stay. The location was great, the property spacious, and the town was lovely. A bit of a hassle to check in in town away from the property, but they were gracious, helpful, and did accommodate our checking in a couple of hours early. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.
Loved the location of this unit. A short walk to all Telluride has to offer. The unit had everything we needed for our trip. Plus we had a great view to watch the bears come down the mountain each afternoon.
Etta Place Too was a perfect location for our family of six (kids 17, 14, 11, 10). We enjoyed the walk to town and the beautiful view from the balcony. The townhouse was clean. Itâs on the third floor, and there is no elevator, which was fine for our family, but maybe a challenge for some. Great rental representative, and we would definitely stay again.
This property was perfect for our recent family trip. The location is perfect-close to the river walk to get into town and the views are amazing. It was great to have the pool for the kids and hot tub for the adults. The condo was just right for our group size. However there were several maintenance items that werenât huge but are why Iâm just giving 4 stars. The management was responsive and helpful but it just felt like there were enough things that needed attention that make it so I canât give 5 stars at this time. All this being said we would still come back to this place we loved it so much.
Perfect condo about 5-10 minute walk from the middle of town and about 100 feet from the lift. Lot of sunlight and views of the mountain and well maintained.
We had a few minor issues that were managed quickly. This is a nice spot to stay, recommend renting skis at the location nearby we didn't realize that was an option until too late. Very quiet for a condo rental. The master bath could use a heat lamp it's a little chilly in the morning.
