Incredibly cool place 20ish minutes from the west entrance of Big Bend National Park. My husband and I, our adult son and daughter-in-law plus 4.5- and 3-year old grandsons, and our adult daughter (5 adults, 2 children total) really enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of space for all. All aspects (including dishes, utensils, cooking utensils, coffee, showers, games, TV, etc.) were top-notch and the airplane, well, that was just out of this world. Our grandsons (and the adults!) really enjoyed that and "flew" many places, including "the cake-pop store" to buy us imaginary cake-pops in our favorite flavors. The road off the highway to the house is a bit rough but doable in a minivan and a Toyota Corolla if you pay attention to some bigger rocks and a few ditches. Sitting on the deck in the evening was relaxing. We could hear the vehicles on Hwy 118 but it was distant and infrequent; we could not hear them from inside the house. Maybe a bit more expensive than other accommodations in the area but very well-worth it for the privacy, relaxation, beautiful skies, and the fun airplane. We were all really glad that we stayed here. Highly recommend!
