Great Ski Trip accommodation alternative to Jackson

Our group (old friends from college) skied at Targee and Jackson last year and we stayed in Jackson, but the place was small and expensive. This year we wanted a larger place, less expensive, with a private hot tub, near Targee and Jackson, with brew pubs and Mexican restaurants nearby, and this place was exactly that! The house was fantastic: awesome views, comfortable, modern, great kitchen, etc. The only critique our group had was: we would have preferred one room to have had 2 twin beds, vs all 3 rooms having a king. But that's the only comment; everything else made up for that minor thing. The host was very quick to respond to questions. We plan on trying to come back here. This place is a Gem.

AMAZING views of Tetons

We got a special treat while staying at Targhee Shadows. The clouds cleared for us to get to see the spectacular view of the Tetons from the house. Really enjoyed the hot tub during the snow storm and after. Really couldn't ask for anything more than sitting in a big hot tub looking at the Tetons. The beds were all very comfortable. The fireplace was warm and cozy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Thank you Sven and family. Your place is lovely. We hope to return.

Perfect honeymoon spot

The place was beautiful and set up great. View was perfect. The hot tub was in the right spot to relax and look at the mountains. This was the perfect honeymoon spot after the wedding in the Tetons. Sven was so helpful with anything and even when my son was trying to get in the wrong house(haha) he unlocked the door manually from his phone. Haha. He read the sign wrong in the dark and was trying to get in the wrong rental haha. Sven was so nice through the whole thing. When I pulled up I noticed he was still at the wrong one waiting for me haha. We laughed so hard. I had to apologize for him trying wrong house and sven helping us get in right one haha. What a way to start his honey haha but we would definitely rent from them again.

We had an awesome stay, loved the house

Travelled here for a week end of Feb to early March. We got a lot of snow, and had an awesome time. The house had everything we wanted. Each room had its own bathroom, hottub outside, fireplace inside kept it cozy and warm (my 2 year old loved the hottub). Location was in a good spot right in the Teton view corridor. Loved the log cabin/mountain feel of the home. Highly recommend the property, and the owners were hospitable and helpful. I hope to come back.

Awesome Accommodations!

It was perfect for 3 adult couples—each had own bedroom and bathroom! Very open, lots of natural light, a terrific covered wraparound porch and the hot tub was perfectly centered for a Teton view! Would definitely want to stay there again.

Great cabin!

Comfortable and beautiful cabin close to Targhee and Jackson. Well stocked and very clean. The hot tub and views of the Tetons were great after a day of skiing. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Wound rent again.

Guys Trip to The Tetons

This cabin served as a great base camp for our snowboard trip. The hot tub was excellent after a long day on the mountain, and the views from the back deck were certainly as advertised. Communication from the owner was good, and check in was very easy. I do wish one of us had thrown in a sleeping pad, as the sleeper sofa's in the loft were not comfortable, and the living area lighting could have used some dimmer switches. Really just a couple of minor things in an otherwise great stay and memorable trip!

Great location

We had a great time at this property. The kitchen is well equipped, home was clean, views are amazing! The house was easy to find and location was great for skiing Targhee, not a bad drive to Jackson either! The upstairs loft and bedroom was great and the hot tub with a view was great after a long day skiing.

Log home paradise

It was just as beautiful as the photos. Never got to see the stunning view because it snowed the entire time. Skiied Grand Targhee but couldnt see any of that or the views there too. Too much snow. And wind. Cant control the weather. But the house was a blessing and a totally relaxing spot. Beds comfy. Everything very clean. Bathroom in every bedroom. All new appliances & pots & pans. Love the refridge & stove. Even used the grill. We will have to come back for the view.

Beautiful Teton View

Stayed 3 nights to ski at Grand Targhee. New, clean, convenient rental with great management. Very easy to get to and well stocked for your stay. Covered hot tub was a bonus after long days of skiing. Very close to Alta, Driggs and Tetonia. About 20 min to Grand Targhee. Well built cabin with comfortable beds and a bathroom for each of the 3 bedrooms. A gem of a find.
