Staff very friendly, Beth that checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful and even gave us a card and bottle of Prosecco when I told her it was our 25th wedding anniversary! Such a lovely gesture. Room was spacious although could do with updating

The hotel was good. The staff were lovely. The car park was not fit for purpose. Each marked parking space was so narrow that it was almost impossible to get out of the car if there was a car in the next door space.

High Quality Hotel with good facilities

Pros: Good hot pool, steam room and hot tub
Cons: Free wifi, we were given it as a complementary but in this day and age charging anyone is clearly daft.
This hotel is as expected a well run quality hotel. It sits close to the M50 junction just north of Tewkesbury in open countryside. We were there for a rest break and the leisure facilities and food made this a very pleasant experience. As well as a golf course outside the hotel has an indoor pool with hot tub, sauna, steam room and gym. In fact for a hotel it had the warmest hot tub and pool I've ever experience outside the hot water spa areas of Europe which was very welcome. Breakfasts were self service but the food was hot and well prepared unlike so many buffets. So why not the full 5 star rating, well there are a few minor niggles. Tap water ordered with our meal didn't arrive...ever, and because that meant I was disinclined to accepted the "option" but automatically added service charge on food served in the bar this took a little time to sort out. An event on the Saturday night meant that the car parks near the entrance were all full and we, as hotel guests, were left with a walk from the overflow parking, normally OK but on a cold and rainy night not that good. Overall however the hotel did tick most boxes for me and I would have no hesitation on staying again. Oh and just be aware that if you book a "golf view" room you may have one like ours outside which the golfers assemble for their early morning Sunday game at 7am, so keep your windows shut if you want to have a lie in.

Beautiful setting

Wifi didn't work. Double room was booked but we were given 2 single beds (which were a bit too firm). Check out was noon but were woken by cleaner entering room, she entered a second time whilst I was in the bathroom despite 'do not disturb ' on the door. Reception staff were superb, lovely, chatty and helpful. I would return to this hotel but would make sure I checked in early enough to ensure all was as it should be.

Stop Over

I expected more from a Hilton. The staff were dismissive and rude and check in and in this day and age I do not expect to be charged £15 to connect to wifi. The hotel itself is lovely and has great facilities its just a same that the staffs attitude did not match. They were unwelcoming and I felt like I was disturbing them whilst they checked there mobile phones and Facebook. Might be a one off....I hope so for others.

Absolutely fanatastic hotel - my girlfriend & I had such a wonderful stay!

Everything about the hotel is quality! The staff are all friendly & helpful - even as We were walking out of our rooms on departure a passing staff member asked if we needed a hand. The hotel is set in absolutely beautiful grounds (it would make a wonderful setting for a wedding). I would recommend this hotel to anyone for relaxing short stay whilst visiting the Cotswolds or perhaps the Cheltenham races!
