The suite we rented was nice but in a very racey looking neighborhood. Graffiti everywhere and one can tell this side street was once warehouses. Despite the street setting the room was clean and very “industrial “looking. Although Expedia’s description claimed it had a safe in the room IT DOES NOT! We had to call someone to ask where the safe in the room was and claimed there wasn’t one. Apparently the Expedia description which was sent. We had to carry our personal things everywhere we went. You don’t have the personal touch of ever seeing someone to hand keys to you, greet or offer housekeeping. After being in the suite for 4 days we had to call someone to ask whether or not the room would be attended to. It ends up we were told where to get clean sheets, towels and amenities. We threw out our own garbage. First time we dealt with shampoo, liquid soap and body wash that didn’t smell nice. Quite medicinal in scent. The television unfortunately was facing the living room where the couch was rather on the opposite side of the wall where you can lie down on the bed to watch television. We don’t think the television’s location is ideal for someone who is a traveler, walked through half of Thessaloniki to explore the city and is kind of forced to sit on a couch to watch TV and unwind, rather than on a bed. As for the bed, it was very soft with no support and of course we made it daily. All in all, the suite is nice but it needs I little bit more attention and a personal touch.
