Very good is the Hamam. After a long day itÂŽs very relxing to use the Hamam.
Some informations in the appartment how to use the useful equipment would be helpful.
The outstanding element of this stay was how helpful the owner, was - both regarding the property and general advice for things to see and do in the area.
Parking was on the road but we were always able to park pretty much right outside. The room had a spa bath, which we didn't use, a small sitting area/kitchen and the bedroom as well as an attached steam bath.
Downsides to the room was the noise - not massive but certainly intrusive as the windows were metal framed single glazed units and there was no inner door for the bedroom. The road outside is busy so noise was irritating. The steam bath was great to use though, helped unwind after a day of travelling and trekking. There were also plenty of power sockets and good wifi.
Hamman libre
Unique property. Excellent prompt host. Very cool hot tub set up. Pool is not really useable for anyone but small children. Bathroom had visible mildew, and shower was very small. Two appliances in kitchenette area of room did not work. Microwave turned on but nothing got warm in it. In room coffee maker did not heat water, though there was a backup in the common area that did. Very solid lock on the door, which is important because Tiberias is pretty run down. A lot of abandoned buildings, sadly.
Note that all rooms are different, so this review may not apply to the room you stay in.
Decide for the whirlpool room and enjoy. If you are lucky and get the right room, you even have an extra entrance to the hamman - which is private for you after 22h. 5 minutes walking to Decks restaurant. Good Wifi. Parking on public street in front of hotel (hotel has less than 10 rooms). Contact owner for easy check-in.
Located very close to the Rambam's grave and the Ottoman fortress, and easily within walking distance of downtown. The architectural design is fascinating and the rooms were comfortable. We didn't try the Jacuzzi in the room. There is a small swimming pool on site and a hot pool, so it was a great place to bring my grand-kids. Parking was easy right on the street in front. There is no manager on site most of the time and that was for us was the only draw-back.
