The roof has 3 leaks, but looks like there could be more when it’s raining more consistently. Two of the leaks were right over the couch so we couldn’t sit on it. When I texted the customer service number about it, after a series of automated responses, they said it was well documented and they’ll be in touch. The leaks were not disclosed in the listing or any recent reviews and were a bummer. We were also there during the recent wind storm and didn’t have power for the last day and a half. Because there is no cell service, it’s worth being aware of the possibility of an outage with no connectivity. Luckily we brought a bunch of firewood and flashlights and even brought a camp stove by random chance, so we stayed for our full booking. Our food in the fridge and freezer went bad, however. Other than that stuff, the hot tub was great when there was power, and the house is cozy. The view from the bay windows is lovely. I just wish I knew about the roof leak, and because Vacasa is a big company, the automated responses and lack of acknowledgment about the still ongoing power outage when we were finally able to check out when we got to cell service gives me pause. I doubt there is an actual human being that is aware of the situation and will warn/refund the next renters.
