We booked this place just two weeks ahead of our trip, and the communication with the host was excellent. On the day of arrival, we got to the property about an hour before the stated check-in time, and the host was very flexible in allowing us to check in early, which we really appreciated.Overall, the property is nice. We were a smaller group—four adults and two pets—but I could see it feeling a bit cramped with more than 6–8 people, especially since there are only two bathrooms and limited seating in the living room for relaxing by the TV.One thing to note: the bedroom on the second floor might not be ideal if you like to sleep in. The curtains don’t fully cover the windows, which lets in a lot of light, particularly during the summer months. Also, the flooring on that level appears to be made of simple wooden planks, and in some spots you can actually see through to the living room below. It wasn’t an issue for us, but others might find it a bit flimsy. The backyard was lovely, though we weren’t able to enjoy it fully because it rained throughout most of our stay. That said, we made good use of both the in-home amenities and those provided by the community—those were especially great. One important note: some community amenities are only available on certain days. For example, kayaking was only offered from Wednesday through Saturday or Sunday, so it’s worth checking ahead when planning your activities. We really enjoyed our stay and would book this property again.
