Not so great for being a Crowne Plaza Resort

The room had visible signs of needed upgrades and the bathroom was not the cleanest in terms of dirty or lifting grout lines. The shower head was severely coated with calcium buildup - maybe from the hard water in the area. But it would definitely do with a change. The tiles in the main bedroom area were dirty and stained in several areas. There was also signs of the housekeeper cart hitting the entrance wall by the room door from which the sheetrock dust and pieces were not vacuumed during our entire stay. The closet space had a moldy smell but once the closet door were closed the scent was contained. I’ve stayed at crowne plaza resorts before but this one was by far the least appealing.

We stayed 2 nights August 1st and Aug 13 paid cash for both nights and they charged my Visa card for August 6th which I reported as a fraudulent transaction which I did not authorize. We had a good stay, room was clean, staff were great except for the fraudulent transaction. Makes me hesitant to stay here again as you are required to provide a credit card for incidentals.

This hotel was beautiful. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant had good food and the breakfast buffet was amazing! The pool was clean and relaxing. The front desk had pool towels. The bed was comfortable, the rooms clean, and the hotel was quiet.

I requested a blanket it almost beat me to the room. I really appreciate the quietness, the courteous and accommodating. Been coming here a few years now. It's the ONLY place I stay when flying back and forth to Boquete. The staff is always attentive, kind and friendly, love this place. Crowne Plaza Rocks!
