Stayed for three nights end of May. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Convenienty located in Tofino, was easy walk to shops, dining, waterfront for excursions. Short drive to Pacific Rim Park & beaches, trails. Any staff encountered, (we were gone mostly) were polite, helpful. All rooms face the view. For time of year, would say price was reasonable.

The motel’s location is ideal for being near the shops, restaurants, and companies providing activities such as whale-watching. And the views from the hotel are every bit as gorgeous as advertized. The room had a well appointed bathroom and kitchenette. But it had some downsides - there is non-stop street noise of passing cars until around 2 am which may bother light sleepers. Also, while the staff is very helpful, they have limited hours. The beds were somewhat harder than many I’ve encountered in hotels. All in all the motel is a very good place to stay but I would caution light sleepers to check in advance which way the room is facing.

Great view, quieter part of town

An older motel, but clean and great location at beginning of town. Walkable to many restaurants, shopping and the harbour. Mini fridge, kettle, coffee maker and microwave. Would be nice if a couple of plates and knives were included (just 2 bowls,spoons and mugs glasses were included)to help with mini food prep. Abit pricey for an older property.

Great location, very nice rooms and friendly staff. However, if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this may not be the right place. No staff members are on site after 7pm, and their policy regarding handling noise complaints prior to 10pm is very laisez-faire. For example, barking dogs are not considered a problem unless it occurs after 10pm. So, if a dog in the next unit has been left unattended for the evening and barks non-stop for several hours, the management will not take any action to resolve the issue or consider it a violation of their noise policy, which is worded in a way that sounds tough but actually lacks any real teeth. Basically, their view is that even if noise levels from any source including but not limited to dogs is excessive, as long as it occurs before 10pm it is considered acceptable regardless of how negatively it impacts other guests.

The staff were helpful and responsive. Late check in was made simple and easy. :) The room was well appointed with unexpected extras. A thorough binder of information.
