The staff is very helpful and can speak English well. The hotel price is reasonable and the room is clean. It is just a block away from Ueno most busy areas.

The staff was very helpful for the most part. I was very disappointed that when I left a neck travel pillow in the room by accident, they said it wasn't found and they could not ask the person cleaning the room about it. The hotel was very convenient and in a good area for dining options, shopping and walkable, close to transportation.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at the Wing for a week during our first visit in Tokyo. First the location is perfect. We were close to Ueno station, Ueno Park and local restaurants. The staff didn’t speak much English but was very friendly and helpful nonetheless. The room was expectedly small but we made it work. The shower room was very convenient and room was clean with a simple and organized setup. The price was also very reasonable.

The hotel is clean and nice, size of room is good. However when i was checking in they tried to put me in a smaller room dispite my booking so i had to get them the change that after i showed them it was incorrect. I was unhappy with the fact they want to change to store baggage as the one hour they are willing to hold it its just in the lobby and know one is actually watching it. Most hotels have a locked room which is far more acceptable. Ive actually never experienced someone charging to store luggage in any hotel ive stayed in. and ive been in japan almost 3 weeks. The amenities are pretty good.

The Wing is a nice place for your standard rook with no frills and thrills. Good for an inexpensive room that is clean and comfortable. That’s all you need, while visiting Tokyo. Area surrounding the hotel is close to shopping areas, Ueno park and zoo is close by and also Asakusa and Kappabashi.
