Small cruise ship sizes rooms are the norm in Japan’s urban areas. This one was smaller than even that. So small that there was no room to hang towels in the room to dry out. There were racks neatly provided outside. Location is super. Near Shinjuku. But you have to navigate the station to exit 20 and then get yourself onto the elevated walkway.

It is overall a decent property. It may be the language barrier but the staff is a little standoffish. They need to allow A couple of English news channels at least. Couldn’t watch any TV. I had a small room but it was okay. The water pressure in the shower was great.

I’m not sure if this was a hotel or Expedia mistake but we reserved a semi-double room for 3 people, two adults and one minor which is 3 persons. There was no room in the room for the 3 of us, barely two people in the bed and the other one on the floor blocking the bathroom door.
