The location was amazing. We told the property we would be checking in between 3-3:30, we showed up late around 4, there was someone in the apartment still cleaning it. The floor also had three pieces of flooring outside the bathroom that weren’t attached to the subfloor and created a tripping hazard. I will not stay with GLOBALSTAY again after this experience. The price was not enough of a savings when compared to the hotels in the area.

Location and views are 5 ⭐️. Check in was like a scavenger hunt and looking for a key in a lockbox, on a bench across the street, with hundreds of other lock boxes. Our WiFi was spotty on the road and once we gave 30 minutes away text, we got more instructions that we couldn’t open with slow WiFi. Frustrating! We even called them and we were referred back to emailed instructions which we couldn’t open. Unit needs a refresh as dirty carpets and breaking kitchen cabinets.

50th floor apartment

Place was clean, well equipped, comfortable with awesome views. It was bigger than we expected it to be. Plenty of hanging space and hangers. Bug screen on the balcony door meant we could have door open overnight to keep us cool. Needs refurbishing. Paintwork is tired, dishwasher broken, not working and front of dishwasher unit door hanging off when we arrived. Lots of random half used bathroom lotions and kitchen condiments which gave a feeling of being in someone else's home. Not much room in the bathroom to put your own toiletries. Washing machine needs a good flange clean.

The property was wonderful, within walking distance to the Scotiabank Arena, the Stadium, train station, the apartment was perfect, cozy, clean and comfortable, with not surrounded neighbors or street noises. My only observation is with the GlobalStay process before you get the check in Instructions. It needs to be more customer friendly.

Contacted hotel prior to going,had read reviews about elevator failure and fire alarms,was told there was no issue,had Expedia call them 2 days prior, no issues. Got there July 22 11 pm fire alarm goes off after 10 minutes an announcement comes on with issue in the next building,next morning 10am alarm again,no elevator 37 floors for 2 70 year olds. Last night 11pm fire alarm for 25 minutes,no announcements,no elevator. It would be a zero review if not for the view and location, also no bottles of water as stated or washer and dryer. Do not recommend!!!!!!

Absolute poor decision booking this place. I’ve booked many hotels, but this is a definite no for me in the future. Horrible communication from the apartment representative. After arriving at a “meeting place”, in front of a restaurant, no one was there to meet me as promised. After being told numerous times someone was coming down to meet me, I left after 1 hour of waiting. Again a definite 1000% no booking with this company for any stay. They would not refund my money until Expedia got involved.

Terrible Check in

Absolutely convoluted and confusing check in process with global stay. First they require you to send in identification documents via unsecured email, claiming there is no one to check in at the building. Then the process is duplicated on arrival at the front desk, where you have to check in on a iPad and enter all the same information. The directions to access the building are unclear. Customer service representatives are unhelpful via phone.
