There was only one elevator working which did not stop on our floor. Three weeks after checking out, I reached out for our security deposit ($200 CAD) which they then said will not be returned because of a damage on the carpet. I disputed why they only mentioned it at this point plus the image they attached was obviously the edge of a couch and not a carpet. After that, I never heard back from them. I will be disputing this with our credit card company since it was paid directly to them.

Great Location although security has no idea about rooms or check in. The elevator wait time is ridiculous took 35 minutes to get from floor 38 to lobby and almost missed my flight. Another then that great location great rooms.

This is a fantastic location, walkable to all the main attractions in downtown TO and one of the few places where a family can stay and all have beds. The apartment was very clean and well set up, with a fantastic view and lovely balcony to sit out on with a view of the lake. The one issue we had was that half the elevators were down and it is a huge building with 48 floors, so after waiting 30 mins for an elevator we finally gave up and walked down 34 flights of stairs. My wife has a disability, and had we known the elevators would be a problem, we would have been able to prepare. I get that this is not the owner's fault, but letting us know would have been extremely helpful. Apart from that detail, would highly recommend this as a clean, safe, quiet, affordable place to stay.

Terrible stay. Only one elevator was working for 30 stories could take up to half an hour the get one. The compagny global stay put all the blame on the management of the building. Just stay away from this one.

Elevators were under maintenance and took 45 minutes typically …we were on floors 25 and 28 and had to take the stairs twice. Then the day we were leaving the elevators were not working at all and had to carry our luggage 5 floors using the stairs to wait 50 min for an elevator on that side to bring us down.

There was very poor communication from Global Stay. The apartment was not very clean. I did not trust the sheets, there was wet laundry in the washer. Two of the elevators did not work and there were signs to take the stairs instead of using the elevator ... the apartment was on the 26th floor. The HVAC did not work. I tried calling GlobalStay 3 times and emailing 3 times, no response. They have not provided my deposit back. I'm filing a dispute with my credit card company and a complaint with expedia. DO NOT STAY HERE

Location, location, location! Cleanliness a problem…dishes in cupboard were dirty, shower curtain had mold on the bottom, bath towels were stained. Linen supplies were very sparse…we had to buy dish cloths, face cloths, bath mats. The linens supplied were very well used, old looking & very cheap grade. The lighting in the bathrooms was almost non existent…could hardly see to shower or use the facility. No stands to put suitcases on up off the floor.
