The room was clean, but run down. Definitely needs an upgrade. Was not what I was expecting based on the photographs. I was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite. There were random wardrobes that kind of floated in the rooms, not against a wall or integrated properly. The TV in the bedroom didn't work. I had the front desk send up maintenance to fix it. They couldn't. Then I was told the system was being reset and the TV should work in an hour. The TV didn't work my entire stay.

The hotel staff is very accommodating. While there was a hiccup with my room not having a "do not disturb/clean" sign, I informed the front desk, but when I went back to my room an hour later, it was cleaned. I reassured the housekeeper it was ok, but I did not like the way her superior spoke to her. It was an obvious misunderstanding, and while I know every company/hotel has a reputation to uphold, losing site of someone's humanity should not be compromised. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay, hotel was clean, bed was lushiously comfortable and the proximity to shopping, restaurants, financial district and nightlife is perfect.

The hotel was in a great area. It was exactly 2 blocks from the Union Station and walkable to restaurants and bars. The hotel room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and overall I enjoyed my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is great ( near Union Station and King subway station). Communication with most staff members was pleasant (café staff could benefit from a more polished approach to service).The “athletic centre” leaves to be desired. After a poor night if sleep due noisy folks in the corridor, I was granted a slightly later check out. The bar staff were outstanding

Very accommodating with check-in. Staff were exceptionally friendly. However, could not pull out the bed Chesterfield in the main living area and when staff came to help, we noticed that it hadn’t been cleaned properly underneath the couch- rose petals, and dirt that had never been vacuumed.

Great Location

Very nice stay. Stayed here with my 2 kids while attending Metallica M72 concerts. We had a blast and the hotel was perfect for our needs. More hangers in the bathroom for towels would be a good upgrade. Will stay here again!

We arrived early for check-in, around 12:30pm, and were able to access our room straight away, which was great. The reception staff were very helpful and we were able to store our bags on check-out for a few hours before going to the airport. The room itself was a little dated but in good condition, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was clean although the water temperature in the shower could have been a little higher. Overall a very good place to stay and would definitely return.
