Our go-to when we have family in town.

We live just blocks from the hotel and use the bistro and rooftop bar often. Being limited in our own space the hotel is a great option when we have extra family visiting. Everyone is comfortable and walking distance from each other.

This is a great place to stay if you enjoy parking and walking (or taking transit) to nearby events or attractions. I stayed for a show at History (the music venue) and it was basically a walk straight down Queen Street for about 3KM each way. Very manageable in the right weather. If you prefer transit, the streetcars run right by. My only minor issue is that I am very sensitive to sounds and on the fourth floor I could certainly hear the streetcars at night, but there are ways to manage that yourself and it's hardly the hotel's fault. If you're a music fan of any kind, the music library and turntables in the rooms are a big plus, and the surrounding area is perfect for fans of the arts or of history. The Distillery Historic District is a short walk away and fun to explore. Also check out the 24 hour convenience store right across the street if you're looking for something cheap to eat at midnight! Parking onsite can be a tight fit and may fill up, but I was lucky enough to get a spot on a weekday and the fee is very reasonable for the area. If the onsite lot is full, there's a city lot right across the street which is very easy to access. Finally, if you enjoy an extra level of security and privacy, this place definitely has it. Key cards activate the front doors late at night and control floor access in the elevators, which is something I'm more used to seeing in other countries.There are room safes as well for any valuables. Staff were very responsive also.
