Lana, the host, was great to deal with. She messaged me back right away when I had issues with the cleanliness of the room upon arrival. Unfortunately, the property itself had some issues, as did this particular unit. The pros and cons from my stay are outlined below:
Pros
âą Floor to ceiling windows in unit
âą Lovely forest view (walking path directly below suite)
âą Comfy pillows
âą Big smart TV
âą Big communal pool area
âą Jetted tub* (con below)
âą Large 2 person standing shower
âą Kitchenette with stove and small dishwasher
âą Corner unit
âą Balcony
âą Washer/dryer
âą Ample underground parking
Cons
âą Sticky/dirty floors upon arrival (Lana sent cleaner back to the room the next day). Counters were also not thoroughly cleaned
âą Decor, furniture, floors are dated
âą Could use a new duvet; quite lumpy
âą Mini fridge is too small, tiny freezer doesn't freeze anything (had water in ice cube trays for 5 days and it did not freeze)
âą Small garbage can in kitchen
âą Uncomfortable mattress and couch
âą Jetted tub hadn't been cleaned (brown gunk came out of the jets when turned on)
âą Curtains dirty on bottom (looks like mould)
âą "Hot" tub is freezing cold. Had to literally get out after 2 minutes and go back to the room for a hot bath.
âą Reception isn't interested in helping you as your unit is technically not resort-owned (ie. bring food from hotel cafe up to room)
âą Cafe food is mediocre at best (cold, bland pizza)
