This is my first ever giving any Expedia property a poor review. Owner uses way too much chemicals and perfumes in such a small space I ended up having breathing issues. We immediately attempted to contact her to let her know and she did not answer until early morning as we were leaving and canceling. She saw how sick I was and said she would contact Expedia to cancel our booking. She never contacted Expedia. Expedia has tried contacting her for weeks now. She even hung up on them this last time. Now she refuses to contact them back.
Also, the room was freezing when we arrived. The only way to heat it up is if you stay in the heavily perfumed room for hours with your room key which activates the heater. If you leave the heater will shut down and you have to start all over.
Breakfast was packaged snacks and very minimal. The worst we have had in all of the places we stayed in Italy.
The area around the property is very noisy. I do not recommend.
We are now having to go through the insurance we did purchase. Hopefully we will get results through them.
Fiorella was a great welcoming host! The room was clean and spacious and in a great location. Area felt safe and itâs right by a plaza that had live concert the night we were there which was a great activity to attend.
The space had a nice room good for staying the night. Inside the room was clean and well updated. Our host was helpful and helped us to book a taxi to the airport. Entering the hotel was confusing and we felt we did not know how to get in and waited on the street until we contacted our host to let us in. The area with the elevator did not seem to have lights at night. We had to use our phoneâs flashlight to navigate to the elevator. It was also pretty loud for us when other guests would come back at night, the buzz for the door was very loud and it shut hard.
I just want to begin with the fact this was one of the best trips Iâve ever experienced and this B&B located in the center of one of the most beautiful Italian towns was perfect. The hostess Fiorella was so kind and answered all our questions quickly and politely. This is tremendously helpful as this was the first time I was in Italy. The rooms were kept clean daily and she even left us traditional Napoli pastries for us! From this bed and breakfast, I was able to take a train to Pompey and inner city of Naples with ease. The food options around this town or immense and wonderful. I had a whole itinerary planned around going outside the town but because of how nice Torre Del Greco was, I always found myself coming back for lunch and dinner. I already canât wait to plan my next trip back.
