We were spending two days exploring Capitol Reef National Park, and this apartment offered a very convenient location only 10 minutes from the entrance. Itâs also right by some good cafes within walking distance. The apartment was pretty spacious and filled with comfortable furnishings.
Check in was 3:00. We arrived at 3:35. Cleaning lady was still there. Food all over back door, counters were dirty. Living room window did not have a shade and the screen on the window was torn. The stairs were rickety, definitely needed painting. The photo of the outside was not even close to accurate. Felt more like I was in the gutter than in an Airbnb. Wonât ever stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for the 4 adults and sll are hiking gear. Beds were comfortable and well stocked. Coffee was great!
Couple amenities could be improved - but property manager was helpful and responsive. Close to several restaurants. Nice location to access Capitol Reef. Comfy beds.
Enjoyed our stay at the Heart of Utah. Great space and great host. Had all the essentials in the kitchen and bathroom. Easy driving to the Capitol Reef hikes and especially Sunset point that allowed us to experience great sunsets. Host provided coffee that was local and excellent.
Everything was just as we needed it to be. The place was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We walked across the street to a restaurant for dinner. There is a coffee shop and an creamery right in front of the lodging. It was only a short drive to beautiful Capital Reef National Park.
The apartment is clean, spacious and as pictured. We appreciated the washer/dryer after two weeks on the road. Coffee was provided - it was excellent. Youâre walking distance to food options and we highly recommend the taco truck. Danielle was a friendly and responsive host! The views out back are beautiful- a convenient and great place to stay if visiting Capitol Reef.
We had a wonderful stay. This VRBO was very comfortable, clean, true to the pictures, and well equipped. We highly recommend this VRBO if you are going to be staying in Torrey Utah!
We enjoyed our stay. Close to the park & a few options for eating. Comfortable beds & plenty of space for our needs. I was impressed with the eco-conscious care & encouraging more sustainable practices by both the owner & surrounding businesses. That was a definite plus for me!
This apartment exceeded my expectation. It was comfortable, much larger than I expected, and had everything my daughter and I needed after long days of hiking: laundry, full kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms. The first night we arrived, it was quite warm and I enjoyed sitting on the deck at sunset. Then it snowed and Danielle was out early shoveling the deck for us. She clearly is taking a lot of care to make this a comfortable spot for guests, and I really enjoyed the magazine she and friends put together about local businesses and artisans--some operate right in front of the apartments. Even though Torrey has no supermarket, Austin's Chuckwagon store a block away had everything we could have needed on vacation. We loved staying here in Torrey, loved the town, loved Capitol Reef, and loved the whole feeling of this place.
The space is very spacious, comfortable and very close to Capitol Reef. Danielle was easy to communicate with and ensured we had everything we needed. Our daughters loved the sheep next door and playing in the snow. The cafe right in front of the property have great coffee and delicious food. We would stay here again if we come back to the area.
Ms. Rodier's Desert Dwelling Inn is a great property to stay at while you're in Torrey UT. It's cozy, comfortable and in a great location if you're exploring Capitol Reef National Park, Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. We never had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Rodier in person; however, she was very hospitable and professional in the communications we did have. My wife and I travelled from Brian Head UT to Torrey UT via Scenic Byway UT 12 and Ms. Rodier recommended we stop in Boulder UT and have dinner at Hell's Backbone Grill & Farm. What an amazing 5 star gourmet restaurant in the charming town of Boulder. The food, service, ambience and hospitality were second-to-none. Our deepest thanks to Ms. Rodier for her recommendation.
