The river view and location of this property is absolutely UNBEATABLE. I absolutely enjoyed my stay because of the view and location. The decor in the apartment is also pleasing, but a little run down. I believe it was renovated maybe five years ago, but it shows wear and tear throughout. The property was cleaned in a cursory manner, but there was a layer of dust on essentially everything. The table was sticky, as the varnish was decomposing, and the place had not been swept under the table or in various places. The whole time I was there, I kept finding old hair, dust and particles left from other guests. The host did not give me check-in instructions until the very last minute, which stressed me out a ton and I had to chase them down and get VRBO involved in this process. When I arrived and complained about the cleanliness, the host did come and resolve my complaints immediately. So I'm thankful for that. However, the whole place continued to be a fair bit dirtier than I usually expect from a vacation home. Also, several things weren't working even though several others were. So it's a contradiction. For example, the automatic shades in the back are amazing, and so are the cool shutters in the front of the house. However, the range hood "hotte" was broken, so when we cooked, it was filled with oil smells. There is also a thick layer of gross dust on every single ceiling vent. Now to price. This place is excellent value. The river view and spaciousness makes up for all of it
