The resort employees were nice and the place had a good vibe to it. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working and that's a feature I was looking forward to using. Also the water in the shower was lukewarm at best. I did call the front desk to see if they could make it hot and a maintenance guy went up and supposedly adjusted the water heater from medium to high but the water in my room never got hotter over my stay which was not good. And there's mold in the bathroom grout and the shower curtain was dirty. I did get a replacement on my first day for this shower curtain.

Our room was extremely unkempt. The sheets were dingy, the comforter had several yellow stains, and there were bugs and dirt in the corners of the room. We also found miscellaneous debris under the bathroom cabinet. Very disappointing experience, ad we expected much better cleanliness for the hype received via emails from NEW management!

Arrived to a closed office and a non-working phone app to open door was stuck outside for a considerable amount of time, wife went to the office to get a key card the next morning and when that was tried it didn't work, come to find out the lock was the problem. House keeping consisted of picking up towels and emptying the trash can, the bed was made up once and the sheets were never changed. The toilet was broken and we had to fix it ourselves and it was never cleaned. The heater did not work, this place is old and run down nothing like it shows in the pictures, ghetto all the way, the "scenic balcony" had a wonderful view of a big propane tank,had to go ask for more toilet paper, I can't imagine a place worse than this!

The property is huge, and on the quiet side of the town. There are many amenities, but unfortunately we couldn't explore any since we were out everyday during our stay. The rooms looked newly renovated and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Overall a very cute property, a few cosmetic things need to be tended to. The LVP flooring was coming up in our room and we frequently stubbed toes because of it, we did mention that to the staff. But the shower was also pretty run down, and water pressure and temperature we not great. Also would have loved to know that the hot tub was out of order before I dipped my toes in. I would stay here again and we are considering an event in this location.

Very nicely updated place to stay in Townsend. Staff was extremely pleasant. Owner even reached out to make sure the stay was good. Feels great doing business with people instead of a corporation. Would stay here again.

The room was in a good condition and very spacious for a family. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the Smokey’s and Cades Cove. However, overall I was disappointed with the hotel and I feel this came from my expectations, based on the social media posts. The curtains barely covered the window, so I felt people could look into our room on the 1st floor. The breakfast was poor, the room for breakfast was very small and not tidied. The hotel was a little difficult to navigate around and was much bigger than I had expected. I did not find the staff I interacted with welcoming or friendly.

I really had great expectations for Tremont. The pictures looked great. Was told that the rooms were newly renovated. The room appearance was acceptable. The fine details turned the stay into a nightmare. The first problem was our tub would not drain. No phone or number in the room to call and report. Finally found a number in the check in sheet only to find out it was to a call center. Probably in Asia. We were assured it would be taken care of. Second day and tub still was not fixed. I attempted to fix it myself. Drain was clogged with hair. I was unable to completely clear the drain. Third day the cleaning staff did not leave any toilet paper. I called three times to no avail. Fourth day i went to the office and explained all the problems. Lady gave us toilet paper and sent maintenance to fix the drain. Had staff appropriately responded, this might be a positive review. I would avoid this place if at all possible.

It’s really sad , because we thought this would be a nice little stay. Anything but. First they put us in a room that wasn’t ready. The person cleaning was very rude and said it’ll be ready in 30 mins. Apparently that’s acceptable there. Also the key tub was not operating normal and had a broken unusable drain plug .
