I thought had booked a 1 bedroom apartment, with kitchen facilities. In particular a microwave to heat wheat pack-pain relief from recent shoulder replacement. I would say within minutes of staff realising I would like a microwave, I was rung and offered one. Was appreciated making the second night more bearable. Feedback bonus comment on behalf of disabled community. While the rooftop pool is small-its a cool part of the history of the 'sugar shaker' Could not a lifting harness be in pool area, even if states a carer at al assists and floatation vest must be worn? Possibly the hotel has a lift for folks-just something to consider for more commerce and peoples quality of life. Will be back-TSV like many places still not recovered Covid loss of trade/interest. Thanks for being reasonable human beings. PS Perhaps more than one packet of two biscuits lol?

The staff member explained the matter in a blunt and arrogant manner, even suggesting that if I was dissatisfied, I could consider staying elsewhere. In addition, there appears to be a flaw in the hotel’s door design, as the noise from closing any room door can be clearly heard across the entire floor.

Great location, cannot fault! Walk to the strand, walk to the stadium, Sunday markets on the doorstep. The room cleanliness was disappointing, it had mold over the bathroom door and on the ceiling in the main room area. Assess to the motel with a car to check in was frustrating as it only has a small loading zone at the front of building and another one at the rear which was at peak times unavailable. Car park for the motel is an external which doesn’t connect directly to motel through basement, not a major just inconvenient.

We had the most wonderful stay at the Grand Chancellor. Gian is a remarkable employee who checked us in and helped with taxi bookings, breakfast bookings and all our other needs. We would like to thank Gian very much. Would highly recommend staying here as it was so convenient and met all our needs. Very happy customers indeed and we will be back.

Big room but the bathroom was a bit run down, no water pressure in shower. No double glazing on windows meant you could hear other people in other rooms and balconies below.
