We enjoyed everything about our weekend stay at Front Street other than the parking. Twice, we got to the property and found a car parked in our space even though it was marked as belonging to the unit. It would help to know in advance, and reduce unnecessary stress, that we wouldn't be towed if forced to park in another spot.
Good location in an relatively pricey city. Very basic accomodations that are conveniently located. The property comes with one designated parking space which may become unavailable when taking your car off the premises for the evening.
The room was clean and bright. Wish there was a freezer but i loved how close this was to everything we wanted to do. Check in was very simple. Would definitely use again.
Definitely don't get what you used to for the price, this used to be what you would pay for a proper hotel not too long ago. But while basic, it is clean and does the trick. Disabled folks should be aware there is a one story stair case with only one hand rail and no elevator, as a disabled person I had some difficulty. Good TV for streaming. Also if you intend to try and get rest during the day it can be quite loud with the cleaning crews given how thin the walls are and how tightly packed the studios are next to each other. Lots of slamming doors, vacuuming, talking, etc. I stayed on a Monday so that is probably a busy turnover day from 11am-3pm between reservations. But all in all not bad and I'd stay again in a pinch.
This room is ideally located on the East end of Front Street. The room is a little smaller than the pictures appeared and the building and common areas need an upgrade (exterior of building upgrade was in process). The room itself was updated and clean
Not a hopeless amount of ants, but enough to immediately notice scattered all over the room. We left our ant trap behind in tge hopes it would help some. Property was listed as non smoking, but the entire floor smelled of pot almost our entire stay. Normally this doesnt bug us, but my wife is 32 weeks pregnant. Location was fantastic. Walking distance away from everything. The space in general was a tad too tight, the bed in general. One person would be situated against the wall making it difficult to get up without waking the other.
We rented this studio for a long weekend visiting family in TC. It was perfect for this purpose. Clean, comfortable and centrally located, within walking distance of restaurants and shops, and easy driving distance to the wineries on the peninsulas. The bathroom was especially nice, with great water pressure in the shower. Check in and check out were super easy. The property description and reviews on VRBO gave me an accurate idea of what to expect.
The rental process was easy, as was the check-in. There was some issue finding the room as the pictured building is the one across the parking lot. The location was excellent! The rental was very very small.
This is just what we were looking for - a new clean place to stay right in the heart of Traverse City - we did not move the car once. As advertised, this is a cozy small space, but great for for two people that want to be out and about and not sequestered in the room.
