Dinning experience was not great. Water glasses were upside down on tables when seated. Seems unsanitary. Salad dressing was bad. Music too loud. Room was dirty. Lots of pet hair under beds, in window sills by plug ins. Sheets and bedding seemed clean but room was not overall very clean

Pros: Good breakfast. Also good restaurant on site. Convenient to central Trinidad. Cons: Our room was in a separate, perhaps older, building. The other wings of the motel might have nicer rooms. Our room had an inadequate number of electrical outlets. The shower was across the room from the toilet and sink . Rather soft mattress. Poor visual quality on the flat screen TV, and few channels. The drapes didn't entirely cover the sliding glass door.

The hotel is old, which is fine. Old doesn't have to mean dirty though. Our room had dirt and food crumbs all over the floor. The floor felt waxy too, like it hasn't been mopped in a long time. It's also in need of general upkeep. Cracks in the wall, chipped paint, water stains on the ceiling. Outside of some TLC the location is great with a beautiful view of the West horizon.

You get what you pay for so pay a little more and stay in a nicer place . This place reminds me of when we were young and had no money so we stayed anywhere . This is a motel , old , trashy looking , bigs in the bathroom , tv that is fuzzy and barely visible and towels that looked like they took them out of the dumpster ! Unacceptable! On the other hand , we saw many elderly people with dogs so I guess on a budget and traveling with a dog , it might be a good place to stay . ALSO , the staff at check in was very nice and welcoming more so than many higher end chains so I think this property “tries” , it’s just like an old Motel 6 . One gripe with EXPEDIA, do not put deceiving pictures in your site!!!! This place looked nice but NOTHING LIKE IT IS!

The hotel staff was friendly and courteous, but I didn't feel safe at the hotel. I just got some bad vibes based on the location and the age of the property. I checked in, looked at the room, and went to another hotel.

The restaurant has the best Indian food I've ever had in Colorado!! The beds are comfortable, the hot tub is very relaxing and last but not least the air conditioner works well! We will be back on our return trip to CO

bedding and bath towels were clean, there was a smell in room - maybe stale cigarettes, there was trash on floor and dry grass on floor - if the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed could I trust the bathroom floor was clean? I kept shoes on at all times, there were mildew stains in the shower, breakfast was plentiful and good variety - but had no flavor Our biggest complaint was the Tv in the breakfast area was set to a politically specific channel. Management should realize they will have guests of all types and not have the tv in a public space politically charged left or right. Find a neutral channel - there are plenty.
