I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding my stay and to request appropriate refund or compensation, as the issues I experienced significantly affected my comfort and the quality of my stay.
At the time of making my reservation, there was no indication that the room assigned to me would be an accessible (disabled) room. Upon arrival, I was given such a room, including a bathroom designed for accessibility. As a guest who does not require an accessible room, this was unexpected and unsuitable. Despite raising this concern at reception and requesting a room change, I was informed that this would not be possible.
In addition, the bathroom lighting was malfunctioning, with continuous flickering that caused discomfort and made the bathroom unpleasant to use. This is a basic maintenance issue that should have been resolved prior to assigning the room.
Furthermore, the room temperature was inadequate. The heating system appears to be centrally controlled, preventing guests from adjusting the temperature beyond a fixed limit. Although there is a radiator in the room, it is locked and does not provide sufficient heating. The room relies mainly on a ventilation or air-conditioning system, which was ineffective.
