Learn to surf at the legendary Tris Surf or enjoy the thrill of nature lying down on a foam body board. On the beach is the 'Blue Bar', a Good Pub Guide pub with great food, and Chapel Porth National Trust cafe, home of the world famous HedgeHog ice cream. Walkers take the South West coastal path from the gate through the UNESCO World Heritage North Cornwall coastline. For cyclists: take an 11 mile coast-to-coast cycle route along old railway lines and one of the best BMX facilities in the UK is nearby. Great location for all of Cornwall, only 5 minutes from the A30. 20 minutes to Truro, 30 minutes to Newquay, Falmouth and St Ives. St Michaels Mount, Padstow, Lands End and The Eden Project are within in a 45 minute radius.
